Download The Installer
to switch the TCP
settings on your computer so you can use the
name.space name service.
The changes won't affect any of your regular
internet activities -- they simply add more choices
to the variety of names you can use.
The installer
allows you to switch back to your former settings
if you like. Please read the ReadMe File that
comes with these packages. |
This may not work for users who connect from
behind a firewall or through a proxy, if dns packets are limited to the local network's nameservers.
If outside DNS queries are permitted, then it will work.
Switch off the DNS plugin extension if you are using Mac OS8.x
MacOS 8.6x requires FreePPP.
OT/PPP with dhcp or server assigned IP and
DNS settings may not resolve external DNS servers.
After downloading the switcher software
visit sites of name.space clients
